The China Household Chemical Industry Association (CHCIA) was established in 1989. It is a national level industrial organization registered by the Ministry of Civil Affairs, under the leadership of the State owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission, managed by the China National Light Industry Council (the former Ministry of Light Industry), and has independent legal personality. Intended to serve as a good government advisor and leverage the role of a bridge and link between the government, enterprises, industry, and the public.
